Upon the death of your loved one, when an initial call is made to Springfield Funeral Home, your family will be connected with a Funeral Director.  We recognize your loss and will extend our sincere condolences to the family.  Please be assured, both the family and your deceased loved one, will receive dignified care every step of the way.

With your initial contact to Springfield Funeral Home the Director will obtain the full name and address of deceased as well as the date, time and place of death including the current location of deceased.  An attendant, employed by Springfield Funeral Home, will attend the location of your deceased loved one and receive your loved one into our care.  Once in our care, your loved one will not leave our facility until they have been delivered to their final resting place.

A Funeral Director from Springfield Funeral Home will request a meeting with the legal representative named in the will. If there is no will or you are unsure to whom this responsibility will fall, we will guide you through the priority order of responsibility as outlined with the Province of BC. Legal Representative Section 5 BC

We will do everything we can to make your experience with us as meaningful as possible and will be guiding you every step of the way.

Springfield Funeral Home has private meeting rooms where the Director will meet with family.  There will be important documents that will be required at the first meeting as well as decisions will need to be made. We will guide you through this meeting and ask questions so that we are providing services for your loved one that will both honor them and respect your wishes..
